R27/1171

Located in the Lower Hutt groundwater zone and is approximately 21m deep. The bore has been drilled 200m offshore and piped to a recorder tower mounted on the jetty. This site has been operating since January 1969 and is the only off shore groundwater monitoring bore in New Zealand.
