Then why not join eMission, a one-year subsidised business sustainabilityand carbon reduction programme for businesses in the Wellington region.

eMission gives businesses access to highly experienced business sustainability advisors, guidance on how to reduce their carbon footprint and assistance towards achieving Enviro-MarkNZ accreditation forthree levels - bronze, silver and gold.

Businesses are also offered networking and partnership opportunities, and opportunity for recognition through the Greater WellingtonEnvironmental Awards.

eMission builds upon our sustainable business programme which ran in the region from 2006 to 2008. Businesses involved in the programme havereported waste reductions,an increase in profits from improving efficiencies in transport, waste and energy, and increasing client base from being able to demonstrate their environmental credentials.

eMission is sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Hutt City Council, Porirua City Council and Wellington City Council.
