Watering by hand

  • A hand held hose may be used at any time, provided that no other hose or sprinkler is being used and that water is not being used wastefully
  • A watering can may be used to water at any time

Exceptions

These restrictions do not apply to properties with metered service pipes or those properties that are not connected to Hutt City Council's water supply system and supply their own water for garden watering purposes.
