Free event for conservation volunteers

Individuals and community groups with an interest in caring for their local environment are invited to register for a day of free seminars and workshops at this year’s Restoration Day, which will focus on a ‘Back to Basics’ approach to restoration.

The event is jointly organised by Greater Wellington and the Department of Conservation, and will be held at Victoria University’s Kelburn campus on Saturday 3 May.
