Running an event on the Hutt River Trail

The Hutt River Trail and its environs are especially popular for walks, runs, mountain bike rides and raft races.

If you would like to run an event on the Hutt River Trail, please contact the ranger to discuss your ideas and to obtain the relevant forms so that you can apply for a concession. Commercial activities require a full concession that is processed at GW's Wellington office. Most non-commercial activities require a streamlined concession that is processed by a park ranger.  In most cases you also require a health and safety plan.

You should allow at least 15 working days for your application to be processed.
