Running an event at Queen Elizabeth Park

With sites available for booking, Queen Elizabeth Park is extremely popular for group events and picnics. It is also used extensively for equestrian, running and orienteering events, bike rides and music festivals. The dunes, remnant forest and newly restored wetland areas also offer schools excellent opportunities to study developing wildlife habitat.

If you would like to run an event or activity in Queen Elizabeth Park, please contact  the park ranger to discuss your ideas and to obtain the relevant forms so that you can apply for a concession. Commercial activities require a full concession that is processed at GW's Wellington office. Most non-commercial activities require a streamlined concession that is processed by a park ranger.  In most cases you also require a health and safety plan.

You should allow at least 15 working days for your application to be processed.
