Non-notified applications

A Greater Wellington manager decides non-notified applications on the recommendation of the officer who processed the application. We send a written decision to the applicant that includes:

  • a report giving the reasons for the decision,
  • a consent certificate stating the purpose, conditions and term of the consent (if granted).

Limited and publicly notified applications

Wherea hearingis held, we send the decision to the applicant and the submitters no more than 15 working days after the hearing closes (unless the timeframe has been extended).If a hearing is not needed,we release the decision no more than 20 working days after submissions close (unless the timeframe has been extended).

If there are no objections or appeals, we send the applicant their consent certificate, specifying the consent granted and the conditions placed on it, 15 working days after the decision on the application was released.
