Committee appointed members announced

Four appointed members have been added to Greater Wellington’s Rural Services and Wairarapa Committee for the 2004 - 2007 triennium term.

They are John Dalziell, Euan McQueen, John Read and Ron Southey. Mr Dalziell, Mr McQueen and Mr Southey were also appointed members during the last triennium, while Mr Read (former Mayor of South Wairarapa District) is newly appointed this triennium.

These four appointees join the five Greater Wellington regional councillors who have already been selected for the Committee; Rick Long (Committee Chair), Ian Buchanan, Rex Kirton, Chris Turver and Sally Baber.

The Rural Services and Wairarapa Committee met for the first time in this triennium on Thursday 9 December in Masterton.
