Where can you find the group?
The group are working on two sites in the Churton park area. They are currently involved with maintaining the ‘Arbour Day Site’ behind the Guardian Real Estate office on Westchester Drive. They are also involved with a site from the Wingfield Place intersection with Middleton Rd downstream to Boise. Check out an aerial photo of the area.

What has the group done?
Arbour Day site
The group were involved with planting the stream behind the Guardian Real Estate office on Westchester Drive. This site is still being maintained by the Churton Park Community Association.
Current activities
Original Arbour day planting at Churton Park
The next project involves clearing weeds and revegetating a strip along the Porirua Stream with native riparian species. This area is near to a busy bus stop and pedestrian area, and will be used as an educational resource.
