Akura Conservation Centre

Greater Wellington's Akura Conservation Centre is situated on the outskirts of Masterton. The centre grows and sells tree species suitable for shelter, fuelwood, erosion control and timber. Our staff can provide advice on planning, contract planting, tree species, establishment and protection techniques, shelter, pruning, chemicals and animal repellents. Greater Wellington also has specialists in land management, soil conservation techniques, and land-use and species recommendations.

The Akura Conservation Centre is open from June to September every year for your plant supplies.
