In the 2007 election,13 people were elected to the Wellington Regional Council. They were:

One councillor was previously declared elected unopposed,
- Rex KIRTON (Upper Hutt constituency).
This required 12 councillors to be elected from five constituencies. The number of votes each candidate received is shown in the table below.
The results were declared in the region's main daily newspapers (The Dominion Postand Wairarapa Times Age) on 20 October 2007.
Councillors were sworn in at thefirst meeting of the triennium on 30 October 2007.
